A man was shot and injured at a south Fort Worth apartment complex late Tuesday, Oct. 15, police said.

Officers responded to The Nolan apartments in the 6600 block of South Hulen Street shortly after 11:30 p.m. They found a man with a gunshot wound to the thigh, according to police.

The victim told police he was shot while walking his dog inside the apartment complex. The man wasn’t forthcoming with other details, police said, and said he couldn’t describe the suspect or suspect vehicle.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, and his injury isn’t life-threatening, officials said. The Gun Violence Unit is investigating the shooting.
