A 42-year-old man was shot and injured the morning of Oct. 10 during an altercation in northwest Fort Worth, police said.

Officers responded to the 2900 block of Elinor Street around 8:15 a.m. regarding a shooting call. The suspect was already gone by the time they arrived, according to police.

An argument between the suspect and the victim is what led to the shooting, police said. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
