Braelyn Houston, 22, of Mansfield, was booked Tuesday night at the city jail, according to police records.

Anthony Dewitt Young, 63, of Fort Worth, was killed in the shooting on Sept. 17. Fort Worth police have said that officers responded to an apartment in the 2900 block of South Riverside Drive, in the Morningside neighborhood, shortly before 9 a.m. They found the victim with an apparent gunshot wound to his mid-section.

Young was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital, where he died.

Houston was being held Oct. 9 in the Tarrant County Jail with bond set at $250,000.
