Fort Worth police on Oct. 8 arrested on suspicion of murder suspects in two killings in which the victims were stabbed.

Curtis Davis, 54, was booked in connection with the Aug. 30 stabbing death of 45-year-old David Christopher at an apartment building near downtown.

Police have said that Christopher was stabbed during an argument. Officers were called to The Huntley apartment complex at 100 Harding St., on the east side of downtown, about 1:40 a.m. They found the victim in a bathroom inside an apartment with a stab wound to his left thigh.

Christopher died at the scene.

The victim and suspect were involved in an argument and fight outside the residence, police have said. The suspect left for a short time, then returned and stabbed the victim, investigators said.

In the second case, Hardy Beard, 56, was stabbed to death the night of Oct. 6 at an apartment in the 2800 block of Las Vegas Trail.

Police arrested Marty Kinion, 58, in connection with Beard’s death.

In a third homicide case, 45-year-old Michael Johnson, of Fort Worth, was booked into the city jail on Oct. 7. He faces a murder charge in connection with a Sept. 26 shooting in west Fort Worth.

Police have said that a 24-year-old woman was found that night with a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was lying on the ground in the 3100 block of Bridge Hill Drive. She was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
