Innocent bystander wounded when 2 suspects shoot at each other, Fort Worth police say

An innocent bystander was shot Wednesday night in west Fort Worth when two people who were arguing started shooting at each other, according to police.

Officers responded to the shooting shortly after 8:45 p.m. near the 2900 Broadmoor apartments in the 2900 block of Thorson Lane. They learned that two male suspects were involved in the argument that led to gunfire., a police spokesperson said. One shot hit the victim.

A 911 caller reported that their nephew was shot. The victim’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, police said, and he was not transported to a hospital.

The suspects were not in custody as of Thursday morning.
