Police find nude man shot to death in Fort Worth bedroom, arrest girlfriend in killing
A woman and her boyfriend were in a verbal argument late Tuesday when she retrieved a gun and shot the 38-year-old man to death at a house in Fort Worth, police said.
Ricardo Bruno’s nude body was in the master bedroom when officers went inside the house in the 3800 block of East 1st Street, Fort Worth police said.
Jessica Arredondo, 34, shot Bruno about 11:30 p.m., police said. She called 911 and reported shooting her boyfriend, police said.
Officers found Arredondo in front of the house, and she was later arrested and booked. Police did not release the offense on suspicion of which Arredondo was arrested.
Bruno suffered at least one gunshot wound to his torso.
The East 1st Street killing was the second homicide in the city on Tuesday. Anthony Young, 63, was shot to death during a fight Tuesday morning in the 2900 block of South Riverside Drive, authorities said.
