Body of man shot multiple times found near north Arlington car wash, police say

A man was fatally shot early Friday near a car wash in north Arlington, police say. No arrests have been made, and the victim wasn’t carrying any identification.

Police are investigating the death of a man who was found with multiple gunshot wounds near a north Arlington car wash early Friday.

Officers responded to the 2500 block of Brown Boulevard around 1:20 a.m. after receiving numerous reports about gunshots. They found a man lying unresponsive on the sidewalk. Had been shot several times and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The victim appeared to be in his 20s, but police said they couldn’t find any identification on him. No witnesses have come forward, and investigators aren’t sure why the man was in the area and what led to the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing, police said. No suspects have been arrested.
