Man arrested on manslaughter charge in 60-year-old mother’s death: Fort Worth jail records
A man has been arrested in the death of a 60-year-old woman, according to Fort Worth jail records.
Gary Howery, 42, was booked into jail Friday on a manslaughter charge. Police began investigating after responding to a call about a domestic disturbance on July 30 at an apartment in the 9200 block of Colt Street, according to a police report.
The victim was identified as Rhonda Howery, according to police. The manner and cause of her death have not yet been determined pending results of an autopsy, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
An obituary for the victim’s late husband, Kenneth Howery, identifies Gary Howery as her son.
Police have not yet responded to the Star-Telegram’s request for information surrounding the arrest.
