A woman is facing a murder charge after she hit a 62-year-old man with a car in Fort Worth, according to police.

A woman is facing a murder charge in a case where a man died after being struck by a car, according to Fort Worth police.

Alison Cotton, 53, was arrested on June 23. She was initially charged with aggravated assault, but the charge was changed on Tuesday to murder, according to Fort Worth jail records.

A police report says Cotton struck 62-year-old Roosevelt Little with a vehicle in the 2000 block of South Hughes Avenue on June 22.

Little died in a hospital on June 27, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office, but the cause and manner of his death have not yet been officially determined, pending results of an autopsy.
