Police ask for help to ID suspect who caused $1,400 in damages in downtown Fort Worth

Police are asking for information about a suspect seen tampering with personal property in downtown Fort Worth.

At around 1 a.m. Sunday, a man was seen in video obtained by police damaging multiple flower pots and plants in the downtown area, according to a news release.

The suspect caused about $1,400 worth of damage, the release said.

He may have been a guest at a downtown hotel, but police say they are still investigating to confirm this information.

The suspect is described by police as a white man who was wearing a tank top and shorts.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to call Fort Worth police at 817-392-3906.
