Man in serious condition after being slashed in abdomen by girlfriend, Fort Worth police say
A man was seriously injured near a south Fort Worth apartment complex Saturday morning after his girlfriend slashed him in the abdomen, police said.
Officers responded to the 900 block of Oak Grove Court N. shortly after 11:15 a.m. regarding a cutting call. They found a man with serious bodily injuries, according to police.
The suspect fled the scene and was still at large early Saturday afternoon, officials said. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Family Violence Unit has been notified about the cutting incident, officials said.
