Fort Worth police are investigating after shooting on 5th Avenue injures 1
Fort Worth police are investigating after a man was injured in a shooting Friday evening on 5th Avenue.
Around 8:30 p.m., police were dispatched to the 4100 block of 5th Avenue in response to a prowler call.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a male with two gunshot wounds, police say.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition, according to police.
Gun Violence detectives were notified and will be handling the investigation.
Police did not announce an arrest.
