Woman shot, injured in domestic violence incident in southwest Fort Worth, police say
A woman was shot and injured in a domestic violence incident in southwest Fort Worth early Tuesday, police said.
Officers were dispatched to 4320 Bellaire Drive S. shortly after midnight regarding a shooting call. They found a woman who had been wounded. Police said the shooting was the result of a domestic disturbance.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said, and a suspect was detained.
Gun Violence Unit detectives have been notified about the shooting, police said.
