Man injured in south Fort Worth shooting after fight at apartments Monday night

One person was injured in a south Fort Worth shooting at apartments at 4400 Fair Park Blvd. Monday night, according to police.

A 911 caller just before 8 p.m. told dispatchers that a man had been shot, according to a police incident detail report, which provides preliminary information to officers responding to calls.

Officers responded to find the victim with non-life threatening injuries. He was treated and released at the scene by MedStar and told officers he’d been in a fight with another person before he was shot.

Police have not said whether they have identified or arrested any suspects. Gun violence detectives are investigating.
