A man has been arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter after a car crash in April that killed a 20-year-old woman, the North Richland Hills Police Department said in a news release Friday.

Justin Plunkett, 25, was arrested Tuesday and was transported to the Tarrant County Jail. His bond was set at $25,000.

The fatal crash happened on April 23 just before 5:30 p.m. on Mid Cities Boulevard near Little Ranch Road.

Witnesses told police that a vehicle was seen speeding moments before the crash. The investigation revealed alcohol was involved, according to the release.

The identity of the victim was not released by police.
