Two people were shot in Deep Ellum on Wednesday morning after a reported disturbance in the area, according to Star-Telegram news partner WFAA.

Dallas police responded around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday to the 2900 block of Commerce to find a man and a woman had been shot, WFAA reported. Authorities are searching for a woman they suspect of pulling the trigger.

The two victims were taken to the hospital, but their conditions were not immediately available.

Witnesses at the scene told WFAA the victims worked at Gus’s World Famous Fried chicken. It’s not yet clear if the victims had any connection to the shooter or what happened leading up to the shooting.
