Man killed in shooting at north Dallas apartment complex, police say

Dallas police are investigating a homicide after a man was shot at an apartment complex in Vickery Meadow early Monday morning.

Officers responded shortly before 2 a.m. to an apartment complex in the 8500 block of Park Lane, on the city’s north side, and found a man who had been shot multiple times, police said in a news release. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim will be identified by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Police have not made an arrest and have not described a suspect or a motive for the shooting.
