Police investigating northwest Dallas homicide after four people shot Sunday morning

Police are investigating a homicide after four people were shot and one died in a northwest Dallas neighborhood Sunday morning.
An initial investigation found an unknown suspect shot at the victims from a vehicle near the 3300 block of Sheila Lane before leaving the scene, police said in a news release.
All four victims were transported to a local hospital, where one of them died. Police are not releasing the name of that victim until the family has been notified.
Two other victims are in stable condition and another victim was in critical condition as of 5 p.m. Sunday, according to the release.
