Kasey Palacios-Flores, 24, was booked into the Fort Worth City Jail shortly after 2 p.m. and faces a charge of murder, according to police records.

Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Washington Avenue, in the south side Fairmount neighborhood, around 1:45 p.m. July 14 regarding a deceased person call, police said. They found David Earl Ward lying on the ground inside one of the apartments. Ward was pronounced dead at the scene.
