2 men shot, injured, during apparent robbery, Fort Worth police say
Two men were shot during an apparent robbery early Friday near a south Fort Worth apartment complex, police said.
Officers were dispatched to the Century Place Apartments in the 3700 block of Century Place around 12:30 a.m. regarding a shooting. They found a man with gunshot wounds in the thigh and back side, police said.
Officers also found a second shooting victim a short distance away near the intersection of Woodway Drive and Altamesa Boulevard. The man had been shot in the right hip, officials said, and police determined the two shootings were related.
Both men were transported to a local hospital in stable condition, and police said their injuries are not life-threatening. There are no suspects in custody and the Robbery Unit will investigate the incident.
