A 26-year-old man was shot late Tuesday in the right knee during a fight in east Fort Worth that the victim’s brother and the shooter agreed in advance to have, police said.

The victim told police he and his brother arrived in the parking lot of a tax preparer’s office in the 6300 block of Brentwood Stair Road where the fight was to occur. During the brawl about 11 p.m., the suspect shot the victim and left the scene, Fort Worth police said.

The victim went in a private vehicle to John Peter Smith Hospital.

Police did not announce an arrest.
