The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has released the name of a 15-year-old passenger who died Wednesday in south Fort Worth when a vehicle crashed as its driver was being pursued by police.

Samaria Ezell died of blunt force injuries, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Two other people were injured when the vehicle crashed into a pole at about 1:15 p.m. and rolled near Altamesa and Will Rogers boulevards. Ezell and the others in the vehicle were thrust from it. Police did not describe the condition of the other people who were injured in the crash.

Fort Worth police were pursuing the vehicle because officers believed it had possibly been stolen.

As it rolled, the suspects’ vehicle struck another vehicle.
