A man was injured after getting struck with a glass bottle during an argument outside a Fort Worth grocery store Monday night, and a woman is in custody, police said.

Officers responded to the 4200 block of East Berry Street around 7:15 p.m. regarding a cutting call. They found a man with a laceration to the arm, police said.

The victim told the officers he was sitting in front of Fiesta Mart when he got into an argument with a woman. The woman broke a glass bottle to give it a sharp edge and hit the victim on the arm, police said.

Officers applied a tourniquet to the victim’s arm to stop the bleeding, and he was taken to a local hospital with possibly life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was taken into custody near the scene, police said. It’s not clear if there is a relationship between the victim and the suspect.
