Fort Worth police investigate fatal shooting at apartment building near Cultural District
Fort Worth police are investigating a fatal shooting Friday evening near the Cultural District.
Officers were called about 5:40 p.m. to The Marq on West 7th apartments, at 701 Arch Adams Lane.
According to a call log, a woman called 911 and reported that she was working in the front office of the apartment building and a man was arguing with her over an animal control violation. The employee told the dispatcher that she locked herself in a restroom and the man was standing outside the door shooting.
A police spokesperson said homicide detectives were on scene. No further information has been released.
