Woman shot while walking from her house to her car in east Fort Worth Wednesday

A woman in Fort Worth drove herself to the hospital Wednesday night after she was shot while walking from her home to her car, according to police.
The woman was in the 3500 block of South Littlejohn Avenue around 8:10 p.m. when, she told investigators, she was shot by someone she didn’t see, according to police. She told them she was walking to her car when she heard several gunshots. She was hit once in the lower back with a grazing wound.
Officers responded to both the hospital and the house, according to police.
Gun violence detectives are investigating the shooting.
