Pedestrian in critical condition after being hit by vehicle on Fort Worth I-35 service road
An adult pedestrian is in critical condition after they were hit by a vehicle on the northbound Interstate 35 service road Sunday night.
Fort Worth police responded to the incident at about 11:20 p.m. in the 7600 block of I-35. At the scene, officers reported a passenger vehicle had struck the pedestrian, who was in the roadway.
MedStar also responded to the scene and the pedestrian was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital in critical condition. Police said the driver stayed at the scene for officers’ arrival.
Because the incident happened on the service road, no part of I-35 was shut down.
