Fort Worth police search for robbery suspect who pistol-whipped Family Dollar employee

Fort Worth police are looking for a man who robbed a Family Dollar store in the 1800 block of West Berry Street at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Surveillance photos show the man wearing a black hoodie, black joggers with a white stripe down the sides, black and white shoes, and a red face mask.

Police said the unidentified man, armed with a handgun, pistol-whipped an employee, threatened customers, stole money from a register and stole a customer’s purse. The suspect was seen getting into a white SUV after he fled the scene.

Anyone with information related to the robbery or the identity of the suspect is asked to call 817-392-4376.
