Mother shot by child’s father when picking up kid Saturday, Fort Worth police say
A woman was shot around 8:40 a.m. Saturday when she went to pick up her child from the child’s father in the 4900 block of Lovell Avenue in Fort Worth, according to police spokesman Buddy Calzada.
Calzada said the child was not harmed and the woman was treated at the scene. Police were searching for the father.
Police said the child’s father shot at the mother when she went to pick the child up Saturday morning. Her car was hit four times and one bullet grazed her.
