Homicide detectives investigate fatal shooting of 19-year-old in Fort Worth on Saturday
A 19-year-old man is dead after police said he was shot while hanging out on the street in the 4100 block of Valentine Street at around 6 a.m. Saturday.
Alfredo Olivares Jr. was transported to a hospital, where the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office lists him as dying in the operating room around 7:40 a.m.
Fort Worth police spokesman Daniel Segura said in an email that homicide detectives are investigating the shooting.
Police did not have any additional information on the victim or any suspects as of Saturday afternoon.
