A man was injured during a road rage shooting Tuesday night in Fort Worth, police said.

At about 9 p.m., a man was traveling southbound on Interstate 35 when a vehicle cut him off, Fort Worth police said. The driver honked at the vehicle that cut him off, which angered the people in that vehicle, and they fired about five shots at the man’s car, striking him.

The driver who was shot then called 911, and officers met him at a gas station near Rosedale Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Freeway.

The man was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.

No arrests have been made as of Wednesday.
