Two wounded in shooting after drug deal goes bad in northeast Fort Worth, police say
One man was in critical condition Tuesday morning and another person was wounded in what Fort Worth police say was a shooting during a drug deal gone bad.
The injured people were the victim and suspect in the incident, police said. The two were taken to a local hospital. The condition of the second person was not available.
Fort Worth police did not release information on whether the victim or suspect was critically wounded.
Police also provided few details on the shooting.
The shooting was reported shortly before 11:30 a.m. in the 5800 block of Faircrest Cove in northeast Fort Worth.
A caller reported that someone had to tried to kill his cousin and there had been a shooting.
After they arrived, police determined that the shooting stemmed from an apparent drug deal gone bad.
Robbery detectives are investigating the shooting.
