Fort Worth man killed, one injured in shooting at Tarrant County adult club

Two people were shot at an adult club in western Tarrant County around 6 a.m. Sunday. One died and the other was injured.

Fort Worth police initially said they believed five people were shot but later said there were only two.

The shooting occurred at Temptations Cabaret, off Interstate 20 in far west Tarrant County near the Parker County line.

The man who died has been identified as Jason Andrew Dunlap, 25, of Fort Worth, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office website on Monday. A ruling on his death is pending an autopsy.

Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Lt. Jennifer Gabbert said one person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Fort Worth police spokesman Tracy Carter said the department is still looking for one man.

No further information was released about those who were shot.

Gabbert said multiple agencies assisted the sheriff’s office in locating people they suspect of being involved.

Gabbert said more information will be made available as the investigation proceeds.
