Man shot twice while leaving west Fort Worth convenience store, police say
A man was shot twice as he was leaving a convenience store in west Fort Worth on Thursday night, police said.
His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
Officers responded to a shooting call in the 3100 block of Las Vegas Trail around 10:50 p.m. Thursday, police said. They determined a man was walking across a field after leaving a convenience store when he heard shots being fired.
Two bullets struck him, police said.
He was transported to a hospital to be treated for his wounds.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and police said Friday morning no suspect information was available. The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
