Teenage boy and girl found dead at an Arlington apartment building, authorities say

The bodies of a teenage boy and girl were found Friday in an Arlington apartment, police said.

Police discovered the bodies about noon in a first-floor unit at the Woodwind Apartments in the 1600 block of South Cooper Street.

Arlington police detectives were working to determine the cause and manner of the deaths. Police were dispatched to the apartment building when they received a report of a shooting.

The teenagers have been identified as 18-year-old Henry Gonzalez and 14-year-old Mia Segovia, police said Sunday.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office said Sunday that the causes of death are pending.
