12-year-old, 16-year-old injured in Fort Worth drive-by shooting, police say
A 12-year-old and 16-year-old were each shot in the leg during a drive-by shooting Monday night in south Fort Worth, police said.
No suspect or motive had been identified as of Tuesday morning. The shooting was reported around 10:25 p.m. Monday in the 1700 block of East Robert Street, according to a police call log.
The caller reported their son and a “little girl” were shot, according to the call log.
A police spokesperson said the victims were a boy and a girl, though he was unsure of the ages. Police were informed they were related, he said.
The department didn’t provide any other details of the shooting.
