Man shot brother-in-law to death inside Fort Worth house, then called 911, police say

A 55-year-old man shot his brother-in-law to death Saturday inside a house in south Fort Worth, police said.

Wilfred Ware, 53, was slain about 4:30 p.m. at his residence in the 3800 block of Irish Setter Drive, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office said.

Cedric Thomas called authorities to report the killing and was at the scene when police arrived. He was arrested Saturday night on suspicion of murder.

Police did not describe a motive.
