Fort Worth police investigate hit-and-run that left man critically injured

A man is in critical condition after a hit-and-run accident in Fort Worth, and police are searching for the driver.

On Sunday at about 8:40 p.m., a 35-year-old man was crossing the street at 6100 Meadowbrook Drive when he was hit by a blue SUV, possibly a Nissan, police said.

The driver of the SUV did not stop to check on the victim and kept driving west on Meadowbrook Drive. The victim was in critical condition Wednesday at a local hospital.

The vehicle involved in the hit-and-run will have damage on the front or on its front-right quarter panel, police said. Detectives asked anyone with information on this hit-and-run to call 817-392-4891.
