6-year-old boy found locked in shed behind Dallas home, police say
A 6-year-old boy was found locked inside a shed in Dallas, according to the police department.
The child was found in the 1000 block of Coston Drive on Sunday night, police said. A police spokeswoman said the department could not release further details on Monday.
The boy’s grandmother said he was in the shed as punishment, and the boy told officers the abuse started after his school was shut down due to coronavirus, according to CBS DFW. The boy’s hands were tied, the TV station reported.
Two people were arrested, but their names were not released.
The child and his two siblings, his 7-year-old sister and 4-year-old brother, were removed from the house by Child Protective Services, WFAA-TV reported.
