Woman brandished handgun during road rage incident in Arlington, police say

A woman pointed a gun at someone during a road rage incident in Arlington on Sunday, police said.

The woman was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She is accused of brandishing a handgun at someone after she was recklessly driving about 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Arlington Police Chief Will Johnson said on Twitter.

The woman was swerving through an apartment complex in the 2800 block of Forest Point Drive in north Arlington, and she got into an argument with someone over her driving, a witness told police, CBS DFW reported.

Police seized the woman’s gun.

The suspect was identified as Diamond Le’nee Worlds, 23. She was in the Tarrant County Jail on Monday on $5,000 bond, according to jail records.
