Man critically injured in shooting; Haltom City police investigating
Haltom City police were investigating after a person was critically injured in a shooting Sunday.
Police responded to the 2600 block of Portwood Court at about 4:25 p.m. and found a 27-year-old man who had been shot multiple times. The man was conscious and told the officers he was shot by a man in his 50s that he knew, Haltom City police said in a press release.
The suspected shooter fled in a car and had not been found as of Sunday evening. The man was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
