Pizza Hut bag, pie and delivery driver’s wallet taken in Fort Worth robbery, police say

A 57-year-old pizza delivery driver was robbed last month in Fort Worth by two assailants who drove from the scene with a pizza, the victim’s identification and credit and debit cards, police said.

Police released information about the robbery on Friday as they sought the public’s help in identifying the assailants. Police distributed surveillance video of them recorded at a QT gas station.

Driver Victor Herrera was robbed on Feb. 21 in the 1300 block of Sycamore School Road, according to a police report.

He had been asked to make a delivery to the 8100 block of Twin Oaks Drive, at an address that does not exist.

After realizing the address was phony, Herrera was confronted by two people who told the driver that the pizza was for them and threw him to the ground, police said.

The assailants drove from the scene in a red Nissan Altima with pizza, a bag it had been carried in and Herrera’s identification, credit and debit cards, police said. Herrera’s cards were used at several businesses.

The assailants are male and in their late teens or early 20s, police said. Someone who recognizes them should call 817-392-4382.
