Police investigating fatal shooting at motel on Camp Bowie in west Fort Worth
Fort Worth police were investigating a fatal shooting at a motel in west Fort Worth on Sunday evening.
The shooting was reported in a room at the Hiway Motel in the 9600 block of Camp Bowie West Boulevard.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as William Paul Sickels, 38. He was shot in the chest and abdomen, according to the medical examiner’s website.
The shooting was reported to police about 5:45 p.m. Homicide detectives were notified.
No information about suspects or a motive was released. Further details were not immediately available.
