Man shot in face in violence possibly motivated by road rage in Fort Worth, police say

A man was shot in the face on Saturday night by an assailant possibly motivated by road rage in Fort Worth, authorities said.

It was not clear where the shooting occurred, but the victim called police about 8:30 p.m. from the 1400 block of 35W to report he had been fired upon and was on the way to a hospital.

A second victim suffered bruises to his torso and a possible head injury, Fort Worth police said.

The victims, whose ages had not been released Saturday, suffered non life-threatening injuries, police said.

The assailant was not in custody Saturday night.
