In robbery, a man passed a note to an Arlington bank teller. He received about $10,000.

A man on Wednesday passed a note to an Arlington bank teller on which it was written that he had a gun, and he received about $10,000 in an envelope, according to police.

The suspect walked or ran from the bank, and police had not identified him.

The suspect robbed the teller about 12:30 p.m. at the Bank of America in the 4000 block of South Cooper Street, police said.

The suspect is a black man who wore a red beanie, black and gold sunglasses, a dark jacket with a gray hoodie lining and dark pants, police said. He is believed to be 28 to 33 years old, between 6-foot-2 and 6-3 and weighs about 200 pounds, police said. He has a black beard and mustache.

A person with information on the suspect should call Crime Stoppers of Tarrant County at 817-469-8477, police said.
