Tarrant County scoutmaster fondled child uninvolved in the program, authorities allege

A former Tarrant County scoutmaster fondled a child several years ago, authorities alleged on Friday as they announced the man’s arrest.

Brett Hall, 60, was booked on Thursday on suspicion of indecency with a child.

The child whom Hall is accused of fondling was not in scouts, according to the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, whose spokesman declined to release the year of the alleged crime.

The nature and facts of the case “give concern for additional victims,” the sheriff’s office said.

Hall was a scoutmaster with Tarrant County troops 205 and 214 from 2006-2013, the sheriff’s office said.

Someone with information about Hall can call Detective Michael Webber at 817-884-1305.
