About 800 crimes were recorded in Fort Worth in the first week of February, according to a Star-Telegram crime map created with data the city released.

The most common crimes on the map are thefts (166), vehicle burglaries (83) and assaults (63).

There were 58 criminal mischief cases between Feb. 2 and Feb. 8.

The interactive map displays the locations of offenses with multi-colored dots. Clicking a dot reveals information about the crime. The data the city released does not include information about sexual assaults.

The map includes filters for different types of crime, and selecting a filter allows users to see only the occurrences of that crime.
