Police arrest suspect after three victims survived shooting at Arlington bar
A man who police alleged shot three people at an Arlington bar was arrested Thursday.
Christopher Griffin, 31, was booked on suspicion of three counts of aggravated assault, Arlington police said.
Griffin, an Arlington rapper who also uses the name BL Double, fired Wednesday into a crowd at the South Cooper Street bar, according to a description in an arrest warrant affidavit.
Griffin left the bar in a BMW that had been parked there, according to the affidavit.
The victims were shot about 12:30 a.m. at the Temptations Lounge in the 3700 block of South Cooper Street.
A fight started inside the bar, and as people were leaving through the front door, Griffin fired shots on the patio, police alleged.
The victims went to hospitals in separate personal cars, Arlington police Lt. Christopher Cook said. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
One victim was shot multiple times, possibly causing a lung to collapse, and the other two victims were shot in their arms, according to the affidavit.
Another person suffered a minor injury caused by flying glass.
Arlington police found Griffin with the help of a Dallas FBI task force and Fort Worth police, Arlington Police Chief Will Johnson said on Twitter.
