Fort Worth woman thwarted kidnapping by biting hand of suspect, police say

A woman bit the hand of a man and thwarted a possible kidnapping Tuesday morning at her home in north Fort Worth, police said.

Detectives continued on Tuesday to investigate the case.

The incident reportedly occurred shortly before 9 a.m. at a home in north Fort Worth.

The woman told police she was attempting to enter her home when a vehicle stopped in front of her residence and a man with his face covered got out.

Speaking in Spanish, the man told her not to scream and grabbed her, she said.

At some point, the woman bit the suspect’s hand, escaping from him, she told police. He got back in the vehicle, which drove away from the scene.

Police did not release any other details.
