Police searching for suspect after man shot at Fort Worth gas station, police say

A man shot another man in the torso inside a gas station in Fort Worth on Sunday morning, police said.

A man and woman went into Joe’s Future Food Mart at 4225 Miller Ave. at about 5 a.m. Sunday, Fort Worth police Officer Buddy Calzada said.

Inside the store, the man got into an altercation with another man, who drew a gun and shot the man in his lower torso.

The suspect fled the scene in a dark red Buick Roadmaster with a tan top and no rear window, Calzada said. Police had not identified the shooter as of Sunday morning.

The man who was shot was being treated at a hospital for the non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
