Man fatally shot inside south Fort Worth bar, police say
A man died after being shot inside a bar in south Fort Worth on Saturday night, police said.
At about 9:30 p.m., officers received a shooting call to the La Botica Bar in the 3700 block of Hemphill Street. They found a man lying on the floor inside the bar with a gunshot wound, Fort Worth police Officer Ivan Gomez said.
The victim had been in an argument with another man when the man shot him, police said. The suspect fled from the bar in a car, and the victim died at the hospital.
The victim’s name had not been released Sunday morning.
Homicide detectives are interviewing a person of interest, Gomez said.
